Rosy rosettes

It took me a while to make the big rosette in the back! I am still trying to perfect my process and then maybe I will do a step by step.

Maria also made me one of these for my birthday and it was really awesome. I'll post a pic tomorrow. I know she did the rosettes a little differently. ; )

Hello everyone! I realize I am a little late, but Maria and I put together such a cute fourth of July banner I had to show it to you!

The picture above is two layers.

Quick Card

Quick-[kwik]
- adjective 1. prompt; done promptly 2. swift

Hello Everyone! Happy Saturday!
Last night I created this quick card and I thought I really should share it with you!

Here are all of the materials I used....

I found this little gem at GASC in the dollar bin! You can use any precut shape you like. I love the shape of this little notepad.

A little tag I believe the tags I used were by Melissa Frances. I received a pack of them when I went to a class at GASC.

Ribbon any color...I used what I had on hand.

Last and my favorite is the new stamp set from The {Stamps} of Life by Stephanie Bernard. It is called Kids 2 Love! You can get it by clicking on The {Stamps} of Life blinky to the left.

I used the little phrase....

I hope this little card of happiness inspires you when you are in a hurry! Quick things come out cute sometimes! Use what you have on hand.

My Pink Stamper Color Challenge

Today I participated in my first challenge. It came from My Pink Stamper and the challenge was to incorporate turquoise, green and orange into one project. I started out by choosing the glitter embossed turquoise cardstock. It has small turqouise palm leaves and then used my Imagine More Cards art cartridge to print and cut the alligator and the phrase "Snappin Good Time."  Then I used an orange pattern from Kate's Kitchen cartridge to fill in a pre-loaded die cut on my Cricut Imagine. I punched the scalloped edge on the green cardstock using a Fiskars border punch and adhered it all to the card. I think it came out really cute! What do you think?

We will soon be uploading pictures of all the awesomeness we scored while we were there. We will also upload an amazing interview that Maria Elena did with The Stamps of Life creator Stephanie Barnard!!!! Here is a pic to tide you over until we do all of our uploading.
